Bottar Law, PLLC, is an award-winning law firm that has, for more than three decades, limited the scope of its practice to representing only injured patients, workers, motorists and consumers, as well as their spouses, children and families.

Unlike law firms that represent the injured in one conference room and defend the negligent in the room next door, none of our attorneys defend insurance companies, the negligent, or those who have committed malpractice.  The narrow focus of our practice is not an accident.  Rather, the Firm made a conscious decision in 1983 to represent plaintiffs 100% of the time to avoid any actual or potential conflicts-of-interest.

In addition, we believe that our clients' interests are best served by a team of attorneys who, like their clients, have everything riding on the outcome of the case.  As we only earn a legal fee if there is a settlement or jury verdict, our business hinges upon our ability to get the job done right.

Unwavering client commitment is just one way that we are different than many law firms.  In addition, our team of attorneys work daily with a vast network of medical experts, scientists, engineers and other specialists to prove our clients' cases.  Our longstanding relationships with world-renowned experts enable us to conduct prompt, thorough, economical and honest record reviews to determine whether an injury or loss was preventable.  We are also accustomed to contingency fee compensation, seldom require a monetary retainer, and have decades of experience managing cash flow needs that are integral to preparing a case for trial.

Who you choose to represent you matters, and we know that selecting a law firm can be a difficult task.  Before you retain a law firm, it is important that you evaluate your options, and understand that Bottar Law, PLLC:

  • Is not a "TV" law firm.  Because we believe that our results speak for themselves, we do not have a jingle, a billboard, or trendy telephone number.  If you believe that the best lawyers have their face glued to the side of a bus, we are not a good fit for you.

  • Is not satisfied with recovering pennies on the dollar.  We will not settle your case overnight before we (or you) know the full extent of your damages including, for example, whether you will need additional medical care one, two, or even three years down the road.  If you want us to "flip" your case in a few weeks, we are not a good fit for you.

  • Does not believe that the civil justice system is a lottery.  Tort law provides for fair and just compensation, not a reward.  If you are seeking a reward, we are not a good fit for you.

  • Is not a law firm that is hesitant to take the appropriate case to trial before a jury.  We trust the community to hear our case and make the correct decision.
